Every Thursday I invite you to dig in closer into the Salomon Running Team France… Today a few questions to sacha devillaz
Hello Sacha, here you are at the end of the winter season…What does it mean to you? How do you organize yourself at this period?
I particularly like the end of winter, I can start running and still ski. The weather is getting warmer, and I can wear my shorts and tees again.
In Spring I usually go in the Swiss Valais, 20mns away from Vallorcine by car. The environment is dry and I can have good and long runs in the vineyards, or the Fully VK….
I can still ski in Vallorcine, mere mountaineering skiing, just for my own pleasure, alone or in family! I’m generally in good shape at this period, because I spent the whole winter working on my cardio, on intensive Nordic Skiing races, and I don’t suffer from any physical injuries linked to trail running.
Can you tell us a bit more on the coming season… what motivates you and what do you dream about?
To get rid of all these daily migraines and dizziness! I feel I’m in total harmony with my desires and who I want to be, and that is the main thing. Of course there will be bibs because I like challenges, races that I care about like the 100K of Istria in Croatia. I do have a wonderful dream for next year, just thinking about it makes me feel like a junior starting his first trail season!
